"I initially purchased this version of Spirulina because of the price. When the bottles came I looked at the pills. The pills are green with white specks. This product is loaded with fillers like calcium, which can be beneficial if you need calcium. I actually already have a calcium supplement.

I would suggest that you purchase the Swanson 100% organic version for a few dollars more. It's a much more potent version, because it is pure. The pill color is a pure dark green."

"Spirulina is a must for a healthy diet. The Tabs are a convenient way to take the algae. Most people are repelled with the powder because of the fishy smell comon to sea veggies. But, whichever way you get your spirulina you are sure of a broad range of health ingredients all rolled into one. For me, the beta carotene and the B12 were the clinchers. All the other goodies are pluses."
