Lee Swanson's Ultimate Probiotic Formula is a highly potent probiotic supplement, featuring 66 billion organisms per veggie cap. It includes more than 20 billion acidophilus organisms along with select cultures like the famous Kyo-Dophilus blend. But that's not all. Ultimate Probiotic Formula also includes 100 mg of prebiotic NutraFlora short chain FOS to nourish the probiotic organisms and help them thrive. Be sure to take the supplement with food as directed on the label. Doing so will raise the pH level of your stomach to a 3 or 4, which effectively allows the organisms to survive the acid in your stomach and eliminates the need for an enteric-coating.

Meh I ordered these products in early 2012. They were manufactured in November of 2010. I'm not sure if probiotics work, but I am sure that the efficacy is reduced after sitting on a shelf somewhere for over a year. March 27, 2012

It lives up to its name My family had been using this for over 5 years now. It still amazes me that one capsule could carry 66 billion probiotics. Potency and Value Contains a great variety of strains as well as an impressive CFU count of 50 billion, well above most others for sale, all for an affordable price. One pill per day, along with an additional 10g of inulin, has proven effective for me in maintaining proper digestion and gut health.
