Not very fresh beans, dry and stale tasting I am disappointed in these coffee beans since Swanson products are usually of high quality and value. While these beans are a great deal monetarily, they were dry and stale tasting and did not make good espresso, Aeropress press coffee, nor auto drip coffeemaker coffee. I will not order again. Beans always smell wonderful freshly ground but these are exceptional and so is the brewed flavor. Very smooth with a robust coffee taste ... not fruity or nutty, just good arabica beans! I ordered a bag to try it and ended up ordering several more right away ... and I subscribe to a national coffee club! Might have to reconsider the club ... December 6, 2011
