Swanson EFAs Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is cold-pressed from certified organically grown ripe olives and contains no preservatives, solvents or chemical additives. Its superior taste makes it ideal to use in salad dressings or for cooking. Limited and non-conclusive evidence suggests eating about two tablespoons (23 grams) of olive oil daily may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease due to the monounsaturated fat in olive oil. To achieve this possible benefit, olive oil is to replace a similar amount of saturated fat and not increase the total number of calories you eat per day.

Did not like this oil I do like Swanson products a lot! This oil I did not. Messy bottle; in plastic; also olives were from south africa.... Hopefully swanson will find a better olive oil. January 16, 2011
Nice and light oil. We find we have to use a bit more than normal on a salad. Good price for a half liter. The plastic bottle is actually quite convenient for travelling, even though glass is usually way better. The pour hole is a bit messy. October 21, 2010
Just as good I have been using olive oil for many years and have bought many different brands. Swanson's brand is just as good as any of the other that I have bought that have been much more expensive. I teach nutrition, and I recommend many of Swanson's product for quality and savings. Good organic olive oil. If you've tried to buy organic extra virgin olive oil at your local grocery store, then you know it can be very pricey. Swanson offers a quality organic olive oil at a very reasonable price. I found the taste light and pleasant, still noticeably olive oil but not to heavy on the palate. MisLabeled Dissappointing Olive Oil It did not have taste, color, or aroma of a Virgin Olive Oil. It was more in line with any number of Refined Oils, on the market. An Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil is a superior product. The label on this bottle was, evidently, inaccurate (at least on the statement of 'Extra Virgin'). My guess is that I received a sub standard regular refined olive oil. January 23, 2008
