Don't waste your money.
I normally do not write reviews but felt I must on this product. I am normally extremely happy with the products purchased from Swanson. This is the first one that I am returning. It taste awful. I only tried it because of the 2 for 1 deal. Don't waste your time or money. Go for Swanson's premium Whey Protein Powder. It is a much better product that mixes well and tastes great.

Has a little flavor - but still good
I bought this to put in my juice (not store-bought juice, from a juicer) to add some protein. I didn't see anything that indicated a flavor, so I thought it was unflavored. I can taste a little bit of a sweet/vanilla flavor. It's not bad - my juice is slightly sweet anyway. The scoop it comes with it pretty big, so I might cut it in half next time. I can definitely see myself using this in coffee or a dairy beverage. I’ll buy this again, I just wish they’d point out that it does have a little flavor.

Really Filling
My husband & I really like this product. Based on some of the reviews on it's taste, I was reluctant to try it, but I don't find it any different than most of the other protein powders I have tried. This makes excellent smoothies. We blend with low-fat vanilla flavored almond or coconut milk, frozen fruit, flax meal & silken tofu or greek yogurt for a smoothie that gives you lots of protein and the PGX really fills you up all morning. We are happily re-ordering - we don't want to be without it!

Great Product
I am not sure why others are discrediting this product. I have used LOTS of protein powder products and this is by far the BEST I have used. I have bought the discount store brands as well as private distributor brands. I mix it with almond milk in a shaker cup and it mixes just fine. I have found no "chunks" in the bottom. It is filling and satisfying and a great meal replacement.

Great for Coffee
I do not know why others didn't like this. I used a similar product in my coffee and was sad when I could no longer get it, until I tried this. I brew my coffee and pour it into a shaker bottle with a shaker ball and 2 ice cubes and some flavored stevia and love it! You need to not use steaming hot beverages but if you like a warm protien this will work. It has no flavor at all so whatever you add it to is fine. I did not find it "chalky", sometimes slightly "gummy", but never bad. I love it.

This product is great!
I love this product. It is great for after a workout. And it makes great shakes. Just add some soy milk, banana for consistency, blueberrys, raw honey, etc. It makes a great meal substitute.

Yuck!
I gave this product a try because the reviews said ti wasn't chalky. This stuff was beyond chalky! I normally make a shake with almond milk and fresh berries in the blender and add protien mix, when i was out i used this- it was the grossest thing i have tasted in awhile. even the texture was scary, it was SO thick you could turn the blender bottle upside down and it wasn't budging. I tried it with extra almond milk and it was still undrinkable.
Undrinkable! It makes my gut churn just thinking about it.

Effective Product
This is a really great product if you really want to lose weight but you seem to be able eat at any time, anywhere and even after a hearty meal. This product has made it so I don't want to eat again at least 2 hours after eating - but I've actually made it as long as 5 hours before I realized that I was actually hungry. I coupled this product with Capsimax Plus so I can't tell if it's the combo or the shake alone.
There isn't much flavor by itself but I add some frozen fruit, low fat yogurt and some stevia to make a really enjoyable shake. It's definitely worth the cost.

Best Protein choice they have
This is a great choice. it is very filling, has the most grams of protien for the serving, and it has the calcium, we all need that. Have told everyone who uses supplements.

The Best Protean Powder you will find
Why is this the best? Because it is the only one I have found that does not have about a quarter to a third MSG--Monosodium Glutamate. MSG is what gives all the other protean powders their good taste. it has a strong "That's Good! I want more NOW!" impact.
MSG hides under 30+ different names, like "hydrolyzed vegetable protein," "textured protein," "gelatin," and "calcium caseinate." MSG is also in nearly all prepared foods now-a-days because it sells.
This protean powder does not have a great taste, but because it has no MSG, it is much better for you than nearly all the other protean powders.
So just add it to something that has a good flavor.

The real thing!
the only product I know of that lets you keep (or even build) muscle while helping to loose body fat. One down side is you have to mix it with somthing to help with the poor taste.

Perfect diet aid
When I am dieting, I want the highest quality nutrition with the lowest fat and calories. It is always nice if it tastes good too. This product fits the bill ... high quality nutrition, low calories, no fat, mixes completely with my choice of beverage for great taste!

Not tasteless.....
Unless you load your drink up with lots of fruit and splenda, you can really taste this. I wanted to mix in V-8 and ice and it was AWFUL. It is filling - the only way I can stomach it is with a whole banana, skim milk, and some sugar free chocolate syrup. This defeats the purpose of having a low sugar/low carb shake as the banana is loaded with sugar.

Do not puchase this product
This product did not mix well. The mixture was chunky. The taste is just awful.

Will not purchase again
I was unhappy with this product because it was too fine of a powder which allowed it to fly away whenever I measured it or dumped it into a recipe. I like the Swanson Whey Protein w/AminoGen much better. I haven't noticed any difference in taste, etc. and it is cheaper.

Best of its type that I've found lately
Many years ago I used a similar product for weight reduction, but it went off the market, and I could find no equivalent product. It came with supplements: vitamins, KLB6-cider-vinegar, and an EFA-rich oil to be added to the "milkshakes". It worked great, but when it disappeared...
The national name-brand weight-loss beverage was never as good, and has gotten even less appealing. What to do?
The solution came in the form of Opti-Whey, granulated lecithin and EFA Walnut Oil from Swanson, and some KLB6 tablets. Some pleasant flavorings and artificial sweetener complete the picture. The pounds are coming off, my energy level is better, my sleep is more consistent, and it's about as enjoyable as a diet ever gets!

Super product
This product does what it claims to do, and is more cost effective than other weight loss formulas I have tried. This one comes in at approx 99 cents/serving, whereas the one I was using before was $1.50/serving.
The thing I like the best about this product is it really does make me feel full, I have no hunger pangs at all! I mix Vanilla Silk (soy milk) with frozen rapberries and a banana, or Chocolate Silk with ice cubes and banana. Both make a delicious shake, right around 220 - 300 calories each.

Great stuff
Put a little fat free milk in a blender, some Splenda or sugar free flavoring, add frozen fruit Strawberries are good, mix untill fruit is mashed and it likes like a milkshake. Tastes really great and it fills you up.

Does What It Says!
I love this product! I've been without for a few days and am not losing inches and feeling full like I was when taking this daily. These are the best results I've ever had from ANY protein powder. My favorite mixer for it is 8th Cont Lt Choc Soymilk. Juice with it is gross, don't try it.
