"I couldn't tell a difference when I took the ginseng and when I didn't. But the pills smell really good. I could tell they were really made of red korean ginseng. I will still continue to take one a day until they are gone, but I won't be buying this again. At least they were inexpensive enough to try."

"Some vitamin specialists say Korean Ginseng is "too hot" for women.They recommend other varieties.
I disagree with that. Androgens are the source of the libido in both men and women.As a mature woman,(over 50) my secretions were minimal to nonexistent.Two capsules of Swanson's 500mg. twice a day changed that.My womanly parts have definately reversed the aging process and are womanly again!
It has become difficult for me to find the higher doses locally. The only thing that would be better are the 5or6 year old roots.They are the most potent. We might not be able to get them at such a good value from our friends at Swanson though. I am content with the results i have received."

"This product is very strong. I started out taking the recommended dose and noticed it helped keep me metally alert. However, I also started getting itchy rashy skin around the same time I started taking it, and realized through the advice of an acupucturist that this herb gave me an allergic reaction. She said the Korean Ginseng is usually too hot in the blood for most Americans. I stopped taking it and the rash went away. I would be very cautious with this herb."
