Great product, if you can get over the bitter taste of MSM. Far superior than the capsule form. If you mix with vitamin C powder (item SW1130), it will take away some of the bitterness so it's tolerable to drink.

Convenient product
I find this affordable product easy to use by adding it to a blended drink instead of having to take pills. A nutritionist first gave me a recommendation to take MSM supplements for joint and bone support. I'm glad I found this Swanson product in powder form to make taking it easy, convenient and at a lower cost than MSM pills.

Great For The Hair!
Wow! Since I've been taking this powder i've noticed my hair growing like crazy, although it takes about 3 weeks to see a difference.
The powder is nasty tasting with water, but tastes better in juice or I put it in my protein shake, and you don't need much, it will last forever.

Best MSM powder available
So far, this is the only MSM powder that completely dissolves, so I know I'm getting the full product. I've tried others that left half of the powder sitting at the bottom of the glass. I appreciated the research available through Swansons that weighed MSM powder vs capsules, and now realize I had no results while taking the capsules because they do not completely digest after taking them.
As far as the bitterness of the powder, yes, it's very bitter, but I've found that by mixing it in a small glass of cranberry juice, it's barely noticeable. Great product!

It's not supposed to taste good!!
I am a big baby when it comes to taking anything nasty! HOWEVER, MSM is worth it. It is A LOT easier to take if you only mix enough to dissolve it - only a Tbl spn or two of liquid. Chase it with something U like. If you make a whole glass of it - it's GROSS and you'll hate it!!

Likin' it
The powder is great... I did not want another pill. Do not mix with something you want to taste good though, just warm water. I take with liquid minerals and powder BCAA and chug it down.

WONDERFULL
This along with celedrin are my favorites.One serving of the powder is 5 times the amount you get from 1- 1000mg capsule. If your not satisfied with the capsules try the powder.I wasn't getting enough MSM with the capsules.I take 1 or 2 of the 5 gram servings per day. WOW!!! great results! Early in the morning I dump 1 measured scoop msm into my mouth and wash it down with aloe vera juice.It may be difficult to take that way for some people.

Get over the bitterness.
It is important for you to get used to the bitterness of many products, especially MSM.
Due to MSM's tendency to clump together, sellers of MSM in capsules must add fillers so that it may simply fill the capsule, thereby greatly, if not entirely negating the effects of the MSM.
It is much better to stop thinking of MSM as some sort of juice drink...it is not...it is bitter...and that is a good thing.

so disgusting
I ordered this rather than another brand that was more expensive. I was reading the advice of a raw food diet expert who suggested adding this to water and lemon in the morning and drinking all day...I cannot imagine doing it in the quantity she suggested, unless her brand tastes much better! I usually take MSM in capsule form, and I will likely do that again once I have taken all of this...right now I just take once scoop with a bunch of lemon juice and 1 glass of water and some stevia, and I drink it first thing in the morning and get it over with, for it tastes HORRIBLE.

Bleech!
Tastes like poison and nothing could mask that. Dissolves okay, not completely. Works well but would never buy again because it's so nasty tasting.

Great item
I have always balked at taking something like this. I knew people fed it to horses and dogs. One day I decided to try it , and after a short time...... WOW what a difference! I recommended this to a friend and ordered him some through here.

Good stuff
I had a little MSM powder left over from NOW Foods and did a comparison; the Now Foods MSM powder would not dissolve complete leaving sentiments in the bottom of the glass; whereas the Swanson brand is very silky and dissoves completely. I like the small scoop it comes with. But be careful with this, it is a detoxer so if you use the full 5 grams to start you may end up with headaches so start slow. I also got the MSM 1000 mg. capsules by Swansons, I took one apart to compare it to the loose powder and it wouldn't dissolve at all, in fact it floated to the top as though it were a gelatin. I am returning it and going to call to find out what this is all about.

Many Benefits
I have been using MSM Powder for over 2 years for mobility in my legs and knees and it has helped my shoulders, and neck. It takes a while to build up in our system, but you will notice the difference! As an added benefit it has helped with strengthening my fingernails. I put 1/2 scoop of powder in my water pitcher for drinking and barely notice a taste difference. I add 1/2 scoop to the coffee maker, too. Since MSM is cooked out of prepared foods, I add a half scoop to soup broths, stews, the water used to prepare rice or steam vegetables, etc... MSM is important to our bodies and I have found that using it in powder form is the easiest as I can add it to almost anything! If you are already taking a lot of supplements in pill form, capsules or tablets, then MSM powder is the way to go!

MSM does the job
As a dietary supplement MSM does the job. I am very pleased with the results I receive from this supplement. I am 58 years old and it keeps me going when I shouldn't be able to get up in the morning. Digestion is the biggest positive result I see from MSM. I drink a glass of water with one scoop at breakfast and dinner and I feel fine.
