I know that I need more B Vitamins and this Brewer's Yeast seems to have quality and goes down very well in water!

Great Product
I bought this thinking well this is probably not gonna taste that good and well I was right, but after you take it awhile I tell you that you will start craving the stuff.
It doesn't really mix too well with liquid but hey for the price you can't beat it. I usually mix it with just a little bit of milk and just down it.
Just thinking about making me crave it right now. Sounds like a good idea since i haven't taken any today. Try it and you will not like it , but if you keep taking it you definitely will.
You cannot find a better, safe and cheap supplement on the market. I give it a thumbs up!

Great for Dogs
I feed my dogs a raw diet and was looking for a brewer's yeast supplement in powder form. I found that Swanson's brand was a better quality product than the brands made for specifically for dogs. And the dogs love the taste of it!

Brewers Yeast
The label says it contains folic acid which is not natural. The Natural form is Folate.
I am not sure if its mis labelled or the product is spiked wit man made folic acid.

Great taste!
When one reviewer liked the taste to being "peanutty," I thought "eh?" I used to use brewers yeast decades ago and it was a pale yellow powder with a bitter taste. Not this! This has a rich, dark brown color and is granular. And the taste is fantastic! I don't think one canister is going to last me very long.
It's loaded with Chromium and Beta Glucan. Great stuff!!!

Great Nutritional Supplement
"I use Swanson brewer's yeast in conjunction with NOW nutritional yeast, because each substance possesses nutrients that the other does not. Take two heaping tablespoons daily, either mixed in a beverage, or straight. Brewer's yeast is a brownish powder that has a rich and tasty cheesy flavor, slightly like the "dust" one gets on one's fingers after eating cheese puffs. It is rich in a wide variety of minerals and vitamins, including B-1, B-2 and B-6, Niacin, Folic Acid, Phosphorous, Selenium and Chromium, among others. Great stuff.
Minor footnote regarding packaging -- the product is listed as coming in one 32 oz canister, but Swanson sends you two 16 oz. canisters of yeast, so the price discount reflects bulk purchasing.

Great Price Great Quality
I have been using brewers yeast for over 55 years. I used to drink a much more expensive brand until I found out about Swanson's brand. I compared the supplement facts and found that both brands had similar quanties of minerals and vitamins etc. so I switched over to Swanson and I have been very happy with the quality. I highly recommend it.

Mood Enhancer
This product really helps give me more energy. And lift my spirits. Strangly it seems to curb my appetite. Not sure if it is supposed to do that but I like that. The only thing I do not like is it tastes bad. Wish they could find a way to take that icky taste away.

seasoning for popcorn

Works for me!
At first, I tried mixing with juice or oatmeal, but I felt the bitterness adversely affected the flavor in a very unpleasant way. I then just take the dosage 1/4 cup of cold water 2x day, and in the evening add also 1 TB of ground flaxseed. Works well for me, and I love the flavor this way - you can taste the "peanutty" flavor more, and the bitterness is not as pronounced this way. I actually look forward to drinking it!

Brewer's Yeast
I put one tablespoon in each of my dogs dinner every night, it has many good qualities, I use it in conjunction with the garlic caps, which is said to repel fleas, but I use the brewer's yeast becaues of its many health benefits!

Excellent yeast supplement!
This yeast is comparable to Lewis labs yeast supplement, in its texture, vitamin/mineral content, and quality, yet it is the least expensive yeast on the market by far. I know, because I love yeast and search for good deals continuously. I would recommend it to anybody. Mild taste, so you can eat it off the spoon or put it in baked products without ruining the taste.

Good fo Dogs
I make my dog's food at home, and I always add this product to make sure I am meeting Bowser's full nutritional needs. If you could see how great my dog look, you would feed this to your dog too!

We all love it!
My master, John, makes the most wonderful tasting supplement for me and my three other dogs pals here at home using Swanson's Brewer's Yeast as one of the main ingredients.
I'm not sure what it does FOR us, but it tastes great! John puts a tablespoon in our evening food bowls, and we can't wait to eat.
I've watched him make it, and it looks very easy: 1.5 cups of brewer's yeast, 1.5 cups of wheat germ, just under 1/3-cup of kelp and 3/4 cup of canola oil. Mix together and add to food every day. Simple!
We love when he makes a new batch: Before he puts it all in the refrigerator, he'll put about a half-teaspoon each into 4 small bowls. We make it disappear like magic. I've even seen John taking a taste of the brewer's yeast when he thinks we're not looking.

Swanson Pure Brewer's Yeast
Every day at with her regular food my Corgie, Cindy, gets one scoop of brewer's yeast. At the doggy age of 91 she is still running and is in good shape.

Taste good.
Very good and very cheap. It last quite a while. I use it with cereal, in spaghetti, and on it's own. It has a peanut butter like taste to it. Good sprinkled on just about anything.

nutritional yeast
Excellent nutlike flavor, great in protein drinks and salads. I use this for boosting more protein in my diet and the B vitamins and minerals for blood sugar balance. I get twice as much for the same price as the health food stores.
