I am not sure how anyone would know the quality of a supplement without having access to a lab to verify its ingredients. "I took 2000IU for a year and got my vit.D tested. It was 29. I took 4000IU for almost another year and got tested again. It was only 33. My husband had similar results.

"This looked like a product with a good price, and also very convenient, in a capsule form. However, after 1+ year of taking 2 capsules per day (4,000 IU total), my D level went only from 31 to 34, while some new recommendations are for levels 55-75. Perhaps I should have taken a larger dose, but for now, I will switch to a liquid form and hope to see more of an effect."
