Can't Believe How Much I Love Them! I am happy I tried chia seeds, I was on the fence about buying them. They are great to take after a workout. I put them in about 6 ounces of grape juice and let sit for 10-15 minutes. They are great in smoothies, especially if you have the bullet style blender. I have also sprinkled them in my yogurt. They really don't have much of a taste and take on the flavor of whatever you put them in. The only caution would be they need to soak in a liquid for about ten minutes to soften and release their nutrition or else they just pass right through you. May 1, 2012

nice product I felt as though I was not getting enough fiber in my diet but I didn't want to take over-the-counter products. A friend recommended taking chia and getting the added nutritional and Omega 3 benefits. So far I am pleased all the way around with these chia seeds. March 17, 2012

Swanson Premium Chia Seeds 100% Pure White Wonderful product at a great price! I eat chi seeds every single day! They seemed to have been a 'staple' food for the Aztecs. There are SO many ways to use these in recipes also. Or just put a big spoonful in your choice of liquid and let them 'swell up' to a tapioca consistency to get an abundance of your daily needed omega 3's and 6's and even more! They have NO taste or flavor of their own so you can add them to anything drinkable or edible (or just scrunch them by themselves) Nutritious and energizing food! July 26, 2011
They help I like the Chia seed and they do curb ny appetite. I do not like the container. It needs to be a larger diameter. I Take one tablespoon in the morning sometime. When the container starts to get low I can not get my hand in to get a scoop full. Pouring this product will result in a big ol mess. A Wise Addition to Your Diet This product is a convenient way to add protein to your diet while making you feel fuller. I add a tablespoon to my shakes, salads, tuna, yogurt, etc. It does afford a bit of sustained energy, but it won't enable you to instantly run a marathon. I started alternating this with hemp hearts/seeds, which works well for me. I've recommended this product to my son-in-law, who now uses it daily: It helps to curb his voracious appetite. I've given these seeds only four leaves for value because I can buy it for a bit less but am not sure of the quality of the other company's chia seeds -- so I stick with Swanson. June 13, 2011

Nutrition bomb These things are awesome. I tried the brown chia seeds previously and I just couldn't stomach the taste as it overpowered everything I put it in, but these white seeds can be seamlessly blended into just about any flavor. The ratio of nutrients to fiber and protein is hard to beat. I've found that if I eat more than 1.5 Tbsp I actually get a buzz of energy, almost like I've had caffeine. I eat them for breakfast along with raw cacao nibs and powder, flax hull lignans, blueberries and chocolate stevia, on top of probiotic laden whole organic yogurt, and I am telling you, it is a complete nutrition bomb that carries me for hours. I also add it to coconut oil with cocoa powder, cinnamon and a sweetener for a super nutritious spread for toast. May 6, 2011

Love it This is one of those products that I tried after reading other peoples positive reviews and I became curious enough to find out for myself. I am so glad I did. I have it on my oatmeal in the morning. It tastes very good, adds a bit of interesting texture to oatmeal cereal, and really seems to provide me with extra energy. It also allows me to go longer between meals without craving food. On top of that, Swanson sells it for considerably less than my favorite big box warehouse. What a great discovery. February 28, 2011
GLAD I FOUND CHIA AGAIN ! My aunt gathered and grew herbs and had a health-food store in her garage when I was a kid. She really raved about the high healthy nutrition value of chia. The black seeds are great too. I liked them soaked in juice as a kid, but somehow lost track of chia over the years. The recipes and methods of using them is nearly endless with the internet. I cook the whole seeds in soups and stews - my chicken-shrimp-chia gumbo is great (use Swanson's recipe and add some thin sliced carrot). My daughters like the brownies (ground chia instead of flour - almost like gummy-brownies!). You can make them using butter or oil or just leave out the oil and replace the oil with applesauce (chia is high in its own supperior blend of tasty oils anyway - the brownies climb the edge of the pan as they bake, so oil the bottom AND bottom sides of the pan). I grind a zip-lock bag full of chia to keep on hand. I just stir a heaping teaspoonful of that into my morning and nightly "grog" (1/2 Cup water with greens powder in the morning, coral calcium, lecithin crystals and the ground flax and ground chia last - and anything else you like). Stir it quickly and down it before it settles and before the flax and especially chia expand too much. February 26, 2011
