"I use this salt pillow (heated in the oven) on my back for muscle spasms -- it retains the heat well but is too small for that purpose. Perhaps, it is better used for smaller problem areas -- the value is good, though -- I have seen these pillows advertised for twice the money elsewhere."

"I sometimes get a stiff neck from stress or work. I put the heat pack in the oven for 1/2 hour and then lay down with it on my neck or upper back. The next morning my neck feels much better. Sometimes it'll take a couple of times but it's never failed me. Much better than a heating pad or hot water bottle. It works great for me. I've had mine since they came out. Well worth the cost."

Title:Salt Pack was not what I expected

"I am sorry, I love this product for nasal rinse and bath soak, however this hot/cold pack is very uncomfortable. It is not yielding to human body shapes and skin. When applying it to my back it made me have a neck ache, when I applied it to my neck, my body was crooked. It is mainly the shape of the "pillow" case holder. It should not be square. It needs to be re-invented to a more comfortable shape. Also, after heating the salt, it became really hard."
