"I began taking high-dose vitamin C and other health supplements in my early 40s. My visible rate of aging did seem to slow down, and I feel better at almost age 60 than I did then.

Vitamin C is one of my health staples.

Swanson's 1000 mg vitamin C capsules are a good value, and a convenient way to take the most easily assimilable form of this vitamin.

Lately I've been combining them with Swanson's time-release 1000mg tablets, and Swanson's full-spectrum citrus bioflavonoid capsules, both of which are also among my favorite nutritional supplements.

"I've been taking lots of vitamin C everyday for about 4 years now. I know it makes a big difference because I notice the change if I stop for even a day. It keeps my immune system stong. I just wish Swanson would let us buy more than 3 bottles at a time! Even so, I have not found a less expensive source for capsules. The capsules are as large as they need to be to hold 1000mg, but they are so much easier to swallow than tablets!"

"This product may provide the benefits that Vitamin C is supposed to. I can't make any comment on that.
However the tablets are large and stick to the tongue and throat. Therefore, they are very difficult to swallow. If they can't be produced in capsule form, possibly they could be coated to make them more "slippery"."
