better dosage for me I take niacin on a regular basis and require the regular form--not the flush free--for my particular needs. I discovered that taking one 100mg tablets several times a day helps to avoid the major flush I was getting from the 500 mg capsules. March 19, 2012

Flushing at 300mg I took these pills for a week, originally 100mg doses. Week 2 I tried 200mg and still felt nothing. Today was my first day on week 3 at 300mg and the flush was intense and strong! Within 35 minutes of taking it, my skin was red and very itchy. I am pleased to finally find my dosage for this, I may use a pill cutter and try 250mg to see if its less intense. I will be buying this again!! February 15, 2011

No Flush Have never got a flush from this Niacin. For 100mg these are about eight times larger than other Nician that I have used. 90% of the time I got a flush from my other 100mg Nician. I have not got a flush from the Swanson. The benifits from Nician come from the flush. March 7, 2010

Disappointed The flush is usually noticeable with 250 mg of niacin from a different brand. However, 300 mg from this product does not produce a flush. I've had good results from Swanson products but I'm unhappy with this product. February 6, 2010

I like this product Stronger doses of Niacin gave me so much of a flush that I was extremely uncomfortable. With this product, I still get flush but it is not uncomfortable. For me the right dosage at the right price. Can't beat that! Just wish it came in capsule form... January 29, 2010

Not totally satisfied I was advised by my doctor that regular niacin was better and that the flushing of the skin is what you want. I've used other niacins ( not the "No Flush " variety) which in 100 mg doses produced that flushed feeling. I can take 300 mg of the swanson with very little reaction. Not sure what to make of this. Disappointing For the first time, I am disappointed with a Swanson product. Niacin is one of the nutritional supplements you can actually feel working (that's the "flush" you've heard about). With other in-expensive niacin supplements I've taken, the flush is noticeable, but with this Swanson niacin, there is no flush at all, leaving me to wonder why... July 6, 2008
