"It’s amazing how a common vitamin can have multiple protective effects ! From what I’ve read, folic acid is one of these super vitamins supporting the healthy function of the brain, heart, breast and colon. I knew it was important for pregnant women because of its role in the development of the baby’s brain, but now it seems it also protects our brain as we age. One thing I want to maintain is my mental acuity and alertness as I grow older, so Swanson’s Folic Acid is definitely up there on my list of supplements!"
