"I recently became disabled and was forced to retire, so I had to look for ways to save money. A couple of years ago, I was having severe memory problems and began researching what might be done about it. I read some promising researche out of Germany and other places that suggested that large doses (>600 mg/day) of alpha lipoic acid (ALA), phosphatidylserine (PS), and DMAE might help. I began taking them and they worked better than I could have hoped for, extending my career (I was working as a research scientist at the time) by years.

The ALA is pretty inexpensive, but I was taking a combination PS/DMAE supplement that wasn't. When I started looking at cutting costs, I discovered I could buy PS and DMAE separately from Swanson for a fraction of what I was used to paying. I now buy all three supplements from Swanson. It's been over a month with the replacements and I see no difference in quality or efficacy."
