Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that plays an important role in the production of the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine. In addition, because L-Tyrosine is necessary for the synthesis of thyroid hormone and epinephrine (adrenaline), L-Tyrosine supports healthy glandular function and stress response. Contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.

Suggested Usage: As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule 1 to 3 times daily, preferably between meals. Consider taking this product in combination with NOW® L-Phenylalanine and Acetyl L-Carnitine.

Caution: Persons with thyroid disease (hyperthyroidism), melanoma, or those taking MAO inhibitors or other mood altering medications should seek the advice of a physician before consuming this product.

Great for Focus & Well-Being As someone with difficulties focusing and just feeling good, this has helped me greatly. I take it for up to 3 days in a row, but after that it actually makes me feel a little anxious, so I give it a rest.
