This fish oil concentrate is primarily derived from sardines, anchovies and mackerel. The natural fish oil concentrate used in this softgel is manufactured under strict quality control standards. Excellent Product Now brand of Omega-3 fish oils is a good pure product. It lists the fish sources and is free from harmful contaminants which is a relief. I like getting the recommended dose of Omega-3's in 2 softgels for the day instead of all in one dose. October 26, 2011
Fish burps I thought this product might be OK but I'm going to try another brand next only because of the fish burps. The fish burps I've had are not pleasant. My husband takes these also but he hasn't experienced this problem. March 31, 2011
Excellent product If you want omega -3 with high quality, but a GREAT price, this is for you. This is clean of mercury and other harmful substances and has a high amount of DHA / EPA. This is not only healthy for your heart, but wonderful for your over all mood. I had a slight problem with heart burn, but was advised to freeze it. It worked! I wish I could tell the world how wonderful this product is. I just ordered three bottles in case they stop selling it. July 6, 2010
good product I like this omega3 supplement from NOW foods and believe it is good quality and a great value. There is no fishy aftertaste and I'm glad this is molecularly distilled for purity from mercury and any other contaminates. May 29, 2010

No problems Fish oil has been recommended to me for multiple reasons. I can't testify to effectiveness for cardiovascular health, as I have no lab work to evaluate. However, I was impressed with the product manufacturer's claims to be free of contaminants commonly found in fish. Also, although I have had fish burp problems with OTHER fish oil capsules, I do NOT have that problem with this product. ( I do keep it in the frig.) February 5, 2010
Fish burps Now is well know for there product quality, with this product, the quality may be there, but I can't handle the fish burps for atleast an hour or two after you take it. November 6, 2008
