NOW Foods Lavilin Underarm Deodorant 12.5 grams Cream

Ingredients: Petrolatum, talc, zinc oxide, potato starch (modified), ethylhexylglycerin, triethyl citrate, chamomilla recutita (Matricaria) extract, glycine soja & calendula officinalis flower extract & tocopherol, glycine soja & arnica montana flower extract & tocopherol, BHT, chlorphenesin, tetrasodium EDTA (Tetrasodium edetate dihydrate), frangrance, o-cymen-5-ol (isopropyl methylphenol).

Please follow these instructions when applying Lavilin Hypo-allergenic.

1. Before first application: Refrain from using any other deodorant for 48 hours to refresh skin and enable the deodorant to provide maximum protection.

2. When re-applying: Re-apply Lavilin Hypo-allergenic only when perspiration odor reappears, no less than two days between applications.

3. Instructions - For each Underarm • Wash underarm area and dry thoroughly. • Place on your fingertip a small amount of Lavilin Hypo-allergenic. • Spread gently in the center of the underarm, in the hair grown area. This amount is sufficient to prevent perspiration odor for up to 7 days.

4. Do not apply after shaving, or to broken skin.

5. For optimal results, use Lavilin Hypo-allergenic before bedtime.

Important: Do not use with any other deodorant while using Lavilin Hypo-allergenic.

Title:not for tank tops!

"I have been using this product for a month. I am a bit confused as to what exactly "a small amount" is so i laid it on a bit thick at first. It would have been nice if it specified an amount such as a "dime size" amount or "1/4 of the included spatula" like you see on some beauty products. Maybe Swanson can post a demonstration video. Apart from that I used it according to directions. I thought the smell was great the first few days but then it started to smell a little too herbal. I smelled like a pot smoker when I got hot! Luckily the scent is more pleasant now. I am a coctail server so I hated the glowing white underarms! I am too dark skinned to wear this and I don't even have a summer tan yet! The skin right around my underarms got extremely dried out because I must have spread it out too much. Now I have a dark ring of dry skin around my underamrs! It is also extremely embarrasing to raise my arms to reach for glassware and am constantly waiting until noone is looking to do so. This may be ok for people who do not have to expose their underarms to the public on a daily basis. I have finally started to notice less smell between applications ( 2 day max) but it is just not the deodorant for me."

"I was very disappointed with this product. I was so excited to try it and see if it would help me, but it didn't. It is convenient. You only have to take it once a week, but that doesn't matter if it doesn't help you with underarm smell. I hate to say this, but I just wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It may have been more my body than the product, but it just didn't work for me."

"I was really worried that this product wouldn't work. I have had to switch brands every month for the last couple of years because there is not a deodorant on the market that worked for me anymore. I have been using this cream now for three weeks and love it. It is so nice to get dressed and not have to worry about putting on deodorant every single morning or getting deodorant on the outside of your clothes. I put the cream on every Saturday night and don't have to worry the rest of the week. This is an awesome product and I hope it continues to work for a very long time."

"I was very excited about trying this product. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the results. I followed the directions and gave it a month for my body to adjust. It smelled great when I first applied it but within ten minutes my pits stunk like rotten onions every time I used it. I smelled much worse than I would have if I would have just gone without. My quest for an effective alternative to aluminum-containing antiperspirant/deodorants continues."

Title:BEST DEODORANT EVER !!

"I have used this deodorant for about 1 year (one bottle!) and have been very happy with it.
It is not an antiperspirant so it doesn't interfer with the normal sweating one does. It also has no scent so therefore does not compete with perfumes or other scents.
It took me a short while to get used to the fact that it was not scented and I didn't have to reapply it for about 1 week (just like the instructions say). I could shower during that time and, as long as I didn't scrub the area it continued to be effective."
