Lavender is derived from the Latin word lavare, which means 'to wash.' It was the favored fragrance of Rome and was added to bathwater for a fresh, clean aroma. NOW Lavender Oil is steam-distilled from Lavender plants. This French essential oil is 100% pure.

Ingredients: 100% pure lavender oil.

Suggested Use: For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. If pregnant or lactating, consult your healthcare practitioner before using. Not for internal use.

Extraction Method: Steam Distilled from fresh flowering tops.

Natural essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care.

"Lavender oil has a very strong scent. For me it's too strong to use in a diffuser even when blended with other oils.
Lavender oil is wonderful for cleaning odors out of skiing boots and inline skates. The quality is very good."
