it works so well
I would give this product 6 or 7 leaves for effectiveness if I could. In the winter we snowbird in Arizona. The sun is great but the climate is so much drier than home and my skin and hair show the effect of the drier climate.
Now, before my bath or shower, I use the glycerine straight out of the bottle on my neck, face, arms and legs. Then I continually dampen my hands to add water as I gently massage the glycerin into my skin. I wait about 10-15 minutes and then bath as usual using a loofa to exfoliate. I now have lovely smooth and moist skin. I also make a lotion with it and aloe, water, a few drops of Kukui nut oil and a scent like grapefruit and mint. I use this after bathing and throughout the day. Pretty amazing and so inexpensive.
Then I started using a dilution of 1 glycerine to 7 water for my hair and scalp. What a difference. I saturate my hair and scalp and then put a shower cap on to let it soak in for a bit. I shampoo and condition as usual. The shine and bounce (liveliness) in my hair after the first application was stunning. I do this once a week.
All this and it is so inexpensive. A little goes a long, long way.

I just recently started using this product and love its silky texture. I put this product on my skin and it soft and silky.

I use this in bath water to soften skin in winter and I re-use foam hand soap dispensers with water, liquid soap, and some of this.

Great product
I've been mixing up my own leave-in conditioner, and vegetable glycerine is one of the ingredients. A little definitely goes a a long way, and it helps to soften and retain moisture in my hair. I also use a bit mixed with jojoba oil as a after shower moisturizer in the summer, and to boost my body lotion in the winter.

great skin lotion
I mix with vegetable glycerin with water, tea tree essential oil, lavender oil as my skin lotion. I do not need anything else. One bottle lasts several months.
