This fluoride-free toothpaste from Nature's Gate includes vitamin C and baking soda that act as gentle abrasives to help clean and whiten your teeth, naturally. Nature's Gate natural herbal toothpaste, when used daily and with proper brushing, helps promote good oral health. Our formulation includes an abundance of Free Calcium (derived form extracts of carrots and calcium ascorbate), a natural strengthening component of teeth.

Ingredients: Calcium Carbonate, Glycerin, Water, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Sodium Bicarbonate, Calcium Ascorbate, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, Calcium Glycerophosphate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Flavor.

How to use: Brush thoroughly, preferably after each meal, but at least twice a day, or as directed by a dentist or physician.

Avoid direct contact with eyes.

Got rid of fluoride! After hearing of the toxicity of fluoride, I wanted to switch to a toothpaste without it. I thought it might be difficult to make the transition, but it wasn't. This toothpaste does not give you the sharp minty aftertaste you might be used to, but the flavor is not unpleasant either. It is worth losing a little "mintiness" for the peace of mind. Great taste ! This toothpaste is great tasting. I've tried a few of the natural brands and they are not so good. This one leaves your mouth feeling fresh like the traditional brands but without the chemicals. February 17, 2010
Although I recommend this toothpaste to everyone, I would highly recommend you also use another toothpaste congruently since I'm not too sure what my teeth will be like after a year by solely using fluoride-free toothpaste. The biggest strength to the Nature's Gate creme de peppermint toothpaste is the fact that it doesn't leave a bad toothpaste aftertaste which makes my mouth feel clean and fresh but then again, that also makes me feel like I never brush in the first place. Another strength is the price. The biggest weakness is simply the amount you have to use to eliminate bad odor so if you want to brush away your onion, fill your whole toothbrush with this toothpaste because using even a centimeter of it won't make any difference. This is the perfect morning toothpaste or if you want to brush before a meal, this will be it. I don't know about using it before sleep since I prefer to have a mouth filled with the fluoride, strong minty toothpaste. February 4, 2009
