Sprout Additive As a vegan not eating fish and shellfish, plus the radiation increase as of late, I add a drop to the water soaking my sprout seeds to increase my iodine uptake.. Any iodine uptake would be of an active biological nature and incorporated into the sprouts. The liquid delivery is quick, measured, convenient, and cheap. March 13, 2012
