Easiest way to give a dog pills
Some dogs will take a pill if you toss it and follow with another treat. One of mine will, the other won't. Pill pockets are wonderful doughy bits that dogs find tasty and so will eagerly gulp down the pill(s) hidden inside. I tear off chunks and use them for smaller pills since you need just enough to completely encase the pill and the dog will eat it. Big dogs don't really chew and smaller dogs only chew a little so they don't know you just gave them a pill, they think they got a treat.
Be sure to keep the package out of reach or there won't be any left!

My dogs love them!
Not only do my dogs love these pill pockets and think they are "treats", they never know I have hiiden their medicine inside. I used to use cheese or peanut butter to hide the pills but my dogs were too smart for that and would eat around the pill and spit it out. Pill pockets are a lifesaver and Swanson has them at an affordable price. They are more expensive in retail stores. Thanks so much for carrying these Swanson and keep the price low. Every penny counts when you have 4 resuce dogs.

best purchase ever
I have 2 cocker spaniels and they both take medication every morning and night. Ever since i started getting the pill pockets i dont have a problem giving there meds. I ordered them from alot of places but Swanson has the best price and i can't believe how much fresher they are. So i will be getting the pill pockets from swanson for a long time.

My dog loves them
I remember how difficult it used to be to give a dog something it did not want to eat....like any medication. These make it simple. He has learned to bark on command and we did it using these pill pockets. He will bark to get one!

Pills Be Gone
Stick the pill in the pocket, squeeze the top closed, give to the dog and the pill is gone.
Even the most finicky dogs seem to like these. What a great idea. Little expensive but well worth it!
