Incredible results

cool and clear
It tastes a lot better than we assumed. We like it. It even tastes fresh. We thought that it would taste like older fish since it is shipped. It seems to add the right nutrients. We don't eat enough fish. It is guaranteed not to have gluten and other things that we cannot!

best fish oil ever
I've been using this product for several months now and it is the best fish oil I've ever tried. The Omega 3 content is the best you can get, good flavor, no after burps. Other brands may be a better price but the quality of this product has been proven. I'm at the age where the extra Omega 3 is essential too my body's health and longevity so I will continue to use daily and not skimp on this supplement.

good product
I have used this product for quite a few years. I have no way of knowing what it does other than it gives me omega supplements. I keep a bottle in the fridge and take a few gulps in the morning to start my day. I like the lemon flavor, it's not too oily or fishy tasting and you get used to it pretty fast. For someone who wants a good tasting fish oil this is the best I've found.

Great product and great taste too!
I bought this cod liver oil because I had read on The Protein Power Life Plan that it is really the best quality oil for omega 3's. I am very glad I did. I have been taking fish oil caps for a very long time but I feel that this product is superior. Not only can you tell if it's gone bad quickly, (which you cannot do with the caps unless you break em open) but the taste is wonderful. When I first opened the bottle I was a little leary because you can smell the fishy smell a little bit but when I tasted it I was amazed, just a light lemon oil flavor and no fish taste at all. I love this and will continue to order it, just wish it was a bit cheaper.

I love this product!
Carlson's cod liver oil is of exceptional quality. I have been using it for about 2 months, and can definitely notice a difference in my body. My hair is silky and glossy, and the skin on my whole body has a nice glow. Also, this product definitley has the best taste out of all of the other brands of cod liver oil I have tried.

Try it in Yogurt
I was skeptical about the information in the reviews regarding the flavor, but it is true! You would never know by the taste that you are taking cod liver oil - amazing. However, I still didn't like the oiliness when I took it. I tried mixing it with yogut, and it blended right in. The lemon flavor is still there, but there is no oiliness. Give it a try.

No fish burps here
I've tried many types of cod liver and fish oil, both pill and liquid. All have produced fish burps, but not Carlson's. It is hands down, the freshest stuff you can buy. Worth every penny.

I Love This Stuff
Fresh mild lemon taste without a hint of fishiness. Living alone, I take a swig from the bottle each morning and evening. Can't really tell if its the cause but I think it is responsible for exceptionally good bowel movements. University of Michigan study I googled recommends cod liver oil and tocotrienols for healthy arteries. At 82 years of age I take both. Of course, Moms everywhere recommend cod liver oil.

Awesome Product
I've tried MANY fish oil products - always got fish burps. NONE with Carlson's. One tsp has DHA=500-590 mg, EPA=360-500mg, and ALA=40-60mg. Carlson's Cod Liver Oil was recommended by MDs on holistic health cruise because of freshness and no fish-burps. I'm glad I checked it out!

You Won't be Sorry
This is the best Fish oil on the market. There is no fishy taste, only Lemony. It can be used for tossing over popcorn instead of margarine. Also used on salads, over fish instead of lemon juice.

Carlson oils are among the few quality brands of oils out there at a reasonable cost. The taste is lemony; with zero taste of fish. I use these in combination with the Carlson fish oil, (also in the bottle) to make sure I'm getting a qulaity blend of about 2,700 mg. Omega-3 and vitamin A daily. The 16.9 oz. bottle lasts about 100 days (over 3 months) at a 1 tsp./day dosage. The only minor drawback is when you go on vacation where portability may be an issue when you use liquids as opposed to softgels. I normally will take a small glass jar with me and blend the 2 oils together, so I don't have to do without it if I'm away from home for more than a few days. This is a great product that should be a key part of any sound supplement regimen. Besides the other known health benefits, I have noticed more moist and smooth skin as well. I can highly recommend this product, as it is a very pure and wholesome oil at a fair price - something you just can't say about the many cheapo fish oils being sold at the mega-marts. Here on Swanson, it's about 1/2 the cost of my local health food store; making it the best overall value out there I have found for cod liver oil.

No fishy taste
I really like Carlson's because it has no fishy taste. We mix a teaspoon in cottage chesse for our finicky ones. I'm also grateful for the liquid because I don't like swallowing pills.

My boyfriend, John, had once told me that his Great Aunt Leona owed her longevity to "chicken and Cod Liver Oil". John, who was taking cod liver oil already (and a Swanson customer), told me to at least try it and he gave me the link to Carlson's cod liver oil to buy it myself. I started taking it right away and so far it's keeping me on the right track.
I like this brand of cod liver oil because it doesn't really taste "fishy" at all (I don't know if the lemon flavor made a difference, but it doesn't taste bad like the old cliche in the cartoons and old movies). I have been recommending this to my friends, I gave one friend the link after mentioning it to her one day at Belly Dancing class and told another friend of mine about while working out at the gym. I haven't been taking it for too long, but I hope to reap the health benefits for when I get older.
I also like the value for my money as opposed to going to a health food store and paying considerably more.

Mom always said.....
Carlson's lemon flavored cod liver oil is great. Our whole family takes it daily. The lemon taste is good and most importantly, for our children, hides the "fishy taste" that most people dislike. The DHA found in cod liver oil is important in many ways and I would highly recommned this product to anyone looking for an important daily supplement.

NO Fish Taste!
I find most people bawk at taking fish oils because of what they think it will taste like. Let me assure you this is terrific tasting, if you enjoy lemon that is. My body feels terrific and I have noticed improvements in my skin and elmination system as result of taking this religiously for nearly a year now. Enjoy!
