Not really sure.
I've been taking these as a precaution with foods that I find difficult to digest and I think they have been helping. However, I've also been taking probiotics, so I'm not totally sure if it's actually helping with my digestion or it's the probiotics. Either way, I feel a lot better taking this before a meal that I know will be hard on my digestive system. But, I have noticed though that if I take too many I become a lot more gassy. Overall, for the price, you can't beat it.

I chose Maxizyme because it contains a good array of digestive enzymes. I'm satisfied with my choice.

It is all right
It is a good product, but I feel that there are other enzymes out there that may work better for me. But it is a good product over all, pricy!

Good combination/value
This is a nice combination of enzymes that includes lactase also, which is hard to find in combinations. The price is great.

Superior Quality
I have tried many different enzyme formulations and always seem to come back to Country Life's Maxi-zyme. It is a no-nonsense product that is reliable and really works. Gastric distress is in constant check while on this formula.

Highest Potency/Value per $$ invested
I've recommended and used many of the supposedly "best" and "most potent" plant-sourced digestive enzymes out there, both with clients and self. This Country Life version, at this unbeatable Swanson price, carries the highest FCC (Food Chemical Codex) unit rating per dollar invested that I have found, anywhere. (There's some real "chicanery" going on out there with some of the enzyme formula sellers - but this ISN'T one of them... BRAVO to Swanson for making this product available at such an astoundingly low price!)
