Super Soft Lips with a Great Color I use this color (Watermelon) as my go to lipstick. The color goes with everything. I'm a jeweltone girl so I love the bright bold colors: blues, greens, purples and reds; even blacks and whites. Bert's Bees Lip Shimmer in Watermelon goes with all of them. I have medium brown hair with blonde highlights. My skin tone is light with a touch of olive. Eyes are green. I put BB's Lip Shimmer on in the morning before I head out for work and apply it all through the day. Doesn't leave the lipstick gunk on my water glass or coffee cup. Merlot is my favorite color, but so far Swanson's hasn't carried it. That one is bright and bold; perfect for going out day or evening. March 22, 2011
The peppermint oil in this burns my lips My lips are ultra sensitive, so it's probably just me, but the peppermint oil in this really burns my lips. November 16, 2010
Nice lip product I am not a lipstick person, however I use lip balms all the time. I like a little subtle color that makes my lips look naturally rosier and shiny, and these do the trick. They are subtle enough that I can use several of the colors, depending on my mood! I have tossed out and no longer buy any products that contain the preservatives, colors and other ingredients now known to be harmful. I am buying lots of Burt's Bees because they don't cheat on their disclosures about "natural", and they don't have rip-off prices; quite the opposite. I love it! This is my most used lipstick. It is a perfect match with a nude lip liner. On days that a slightly paler color would match better, I apply a little of their Champagne lip shimmer on top of the Watermelon to tone it down & give it a little shimmer. February 10, 2009
