Alfalfa Leaf Tea from Alvita is caffeine free. Alfalfa was first used centuries ago by Arabs for its nutrient value. One of nature's oldest legumes, alfalfa naturally delivers a variety of nutrients and enzymes.

Ingredient: Alfalfa Leaves (aerial part).

Directions: The best way to make a good cup of tea is by the infusion method. Place one tea bag in a cup and add no more than 6 oz. of boiling water. Let steep for 3 minutes. Press the bag before removing to enhance the flavor. Add honey to sweeten.

Relaxing, good cup of tea I like drinking this alfalfa leaf tea. I wanted a source of silica besides horsetail or the other expensive forms of silica. This seems to be doing the trick, my hair looks better. Can't rave about the flavor or anything, but I'm happy with the results - it is doing what I want in an enjoyable form. I usually use two bags per cup, and at this price that is no big deal. May 12, 2011
