With its sweet apple aroma, Alvita Chamomile Tea is one of the world's favorite teas. Native to Eurasia and first used by ancient Egyptians, chamomile (Matricia chamomilla) has daisy-like flowers and a long and storied history as a gentle, soothing herb. In traditional German herbalism, chamomile was so popular it was called alles zutrut meaning "capable of anything."

Ingredients: Chamomile Flowers

Directions: The best way to make a good cup of tea is by the infusion method. Place one tea bag in a cup and add no more than 6 oz. of boiling water. Let steep for 3 minutes. Press the bag before removing to enhance the flavor. Add honey to sweeten.

Taste not for me I much prefer the pills(cheaper and more effective). Chamomile definately works to relax me. I could not stand the taste of this tea. August 6, 2011
Alvita Chamomile Tea I really enjoy this tea. It has a very good chamomile flavor. I have tried some other brands of chamomile tea in the past that were so lacking in flavor that it may as well have been plain water, but not this one. I make sure, though, to let it steep a really long time (at least 15 minutes), or else then the flavor will be much lighter. The only thing I would change about this product is to make it an ORGANIC tea. December 10, 2010
