Can't be without it! I wash my hands many times throughout the day due to handling animals, cleaning, etc., and I need this cream. Other lotions irritate my sensitive skin but this one doesn't. After you rub it in, it seems to protect my hands and they feel silky soft without a heavy greasy feel. I also like the nice scent. October 21, 2011
Alba lotion We have already used another Alba Botanica lotion product, Unscented Very Emollient Body Lotion, for a few years, and love it, so I thought I would try this Alba lotion for a change. I was very disappointed due to the severe greasiness as well as the scent, and couldn't use it. After applying, it took a very long time for it to sink in, and until it finally did, it felt greasy. I can't stand to go around touching things after applying lotion if grease from the lotion will transfer to them, and who can stand around waiting for lotion to sink in? The other Alba Very Emollient lotion truly does sink RIGHT in with no greasiness at all. Secondly, the scent is not from natural essential oils, but rather is a synthetic fragrance, and thus very unhealthy. It was so strong that it stayed around forever and wouldn't go away; I applied it once before bed and woke up in the middle of the night still smelling it. The scent was so strong and so unhealthy because of being synthetic that it caused me to get an immediate headache (an immune reaction to the scent). This one needs to go back to the drawing board!
