Alba Botanica Garnet TerraTint lends your lips a warm, wine glow. Safe for all skin types, it contains zinc oxide which provides your lips with SPF 8. Organic coconut and olive oils will leave your lips soft. Organic beeswax offers protection against moisture loss. Calendula and echinacea restores and rejuvenates and organic peppermint cools for a tingly, fresh feeling.

Garnet TerraTint is 70% organic. This product is not tested on animals.

Active ingredient: Zinc oxide 5.1%

Ingredients: Organic cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, organic olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, organic beeswax, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, silica, calcium sodium borosilicate, organic mentha piperita (peppermint) oil, polyhydroxystearic acid, triethoxycaprylylsilane, tocopheryl acetate, extract of calendula officinalis flower and echinacea purpurea.

May contain: Mica, iron oxides, titanium dioxide.

Directions for use: Apply daily. Reapply as needed.

"This was a purplish color - OK, but a little too dark. If you love purple-tinted lipsticks, you'd probably like this one. I also tried the colors called Blaze (WOW, I was really pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this color! It is a very light red, kind of a sheer red, not a harsh one. It really makes the lips look natural) and Bloom (nasty-hated it-looked very fake). This "Garnet" is not too bad, though. The only drawback to this product in my opinion is that it isn't the moistest product and makes my lips feel slightly on the dryish side. If I layer the product on by using more, that really helps a lot. (But that will then also make it show up much darker.) Also, the staying power isn't wonderful, but this doesn't claim to be an actual lipstick. All in all, if you can find the color in this batch that looks best on you, then it's worth it."

"I've tried blaze,bloom, sienna and garnet. For everyday use, garnet is my favorite and goes well with my olive skin tone (blaze coming in a close 2nd). My tube has lasted over 7 months with zero spoilage problems and i'd throw it out at the first hint of funkiness. The color is understated-more like a richer, deeper,creamy lip-colored tone. For daytime,I prefer lip color that does not overly-focus on my lips, but rather pulls the whole look together. Also, no irritation or sensitivity issues for me with this product. Swanson, if you're reading this: please don't bump up the price now that I've given this glowing review. It's priced just right for the value."

"I think everything about this product is good, moisture, etc. With a half coat, I would still call it a lip balm. With 1-2 coats, it becomes a darker and darker neutral mauve lipstick. I wear lip balm to bed, not lipstick. I wear lipbalm to work, and usually only wear lipstick when I perform onstage. Sparing use for light color may not provide enough moisture."
